The 30-minute AI working session
How to turn one recurring private-markets task into a specific AI use case that is ready to test.
01What the video covers
A half-hour working session is a way to define the work before deciding what to build. The workflow owner brings the source material, explains how the task happens today and shows the output a reviewer needs. The session ends with a decision and an owner for the next step.
The video is a short overview. For the preparation checklist, agenda and detailed examples, read how to run a 30-minute AI working session in private markets.
02Bring three things
- The inputs: an approved data sample or documents the team is permitted to use.
- The current process: a walkthrough of the steps, systems, hand-offs and professional judgement.
- The required output: a good example, its reviewer and the checks that make it acceptable.
Without those inputs, the discussion can identify an idea but cannot establish whether the workflow is ready for a meaningful test.
03Leave with a build decision
Record the friction, permitted sources, process, output, owner and success test. Decide whether to test a narrow version, gather missing information or scope a larger project. Make missing evidence and review responsibilities explicit.
